Airlines Azorra takes delivery of first Airbus A220
Leasing company Azorra has officially taken delivery of its first Airbus A220. The aircraft is directly being leased to Latvian carrier airBaltic.
MSN 55129, an Airbus A220-300, has been delivered to Azorra Aviation Holdings during a handover ceremony at Airbus´s facility in Mirabel, Canada. The aircraft is the first of a total of three A220s to join the company´s fleet and is now being leased on a long term to Latvian airline airBaltic.
As part of a sale and leaseback transaction with the Baltic carrier, the aircraft will enter into service in the coming weeks as the carrier´s 30th A220, which is a new milestone for airBaltic. The airline is one of the largest A220-operators in the world.

Airbus´ A220 family consists of the smaller A220-100 and the larger A220-300, which is the more popular variant among customers. With modern engines and technological advancements, the aircraft is one of the most fuel and emission friendly aircraft in the market.
Azorra is a commercial aircraft lessor, that provides leasing, financing and management solutions. The company has shifted its focus on the regional airline market. The aircraft portfolio therefore mainly consists of smaller narrowbody aircraft.
