Besides new regional routes, Jet Airways will also commence operations to European and Asian long-haul destinations. The airline has also stated that it will add more frequencies on popular routes from Delhi and Mumbai, bringing the airline´s weekly services this winter to 132 flights.

Starting this November, Jet Airways will fly from Mumbai to Manchester, with Manchester becoming the 21st international destination of the Indian carrier´s network. Now, Jet Airways operates five non-stop services to the United Kingdom. The route will be served five times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In December, Jet Airways will commence operations on the route from Pune to Singapore. The reason for Jet Airways to establish the route is a strongly growing demand from leisure and corporate travellers between the two cities. The route will be served 7 times a week. Moreover, a third daily frequency on the Delhi – Singapore route will be implemented. Delhi – Dubai will see additional frequencies as well.

Regarding the domestic network, Jet Airways has recently opened non-stop flights between Delhi and Vadodara, as well as between Bengaluru and Vadodara. To expand North-South connectivity, the airline also launched flights between Delhi and Coimbatore.

Especially the routes to and from Vadodara and Coimbatore are important, as both cities have large industries and are among the fastest growing cities in India.

Mr. Raj Sivakumar, Senior Vice-President - Worldwide Sales & Distribution, Jet Airways said: "With the introduction of the new services and frequencies to destinations in the United Kingdom, Southeast Asia and Gulf, Jet Airways will provide guests with wider choice, convenience and connectivity."

Jet Airways is India´s second-largest airline and was founded in 1992. The headquarters are located in Mumbai. Jet Airways operates a fleet of 110 aircraft, including eight Airbus A330s, 14 ATR72s, 78 Boeing 737 Next Gens and 10 B777s. 69 destinations are being served in 17 countries.
