Airlines United Airlines adds 150 flights for spring schedule

United Airlines has announced the 2019 spring flights schedule, which sees 150 added flights and five new routes from Denver.

The major US-carrier will especially boost routes from hubs to leisure destinations in Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and selected ski destinations. 150 added flights will enable United to transport 41,000 additional passengers.

Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning stated: "We want our customers to know that, no matter where they want to go for spring break, United Airlines can get them there.”

“This is the time of year when our customers start thinking about and planning the perfect getaway, and with our expanded spring schedule, we are offering more flights and more destinations than ever before," Gupta added.

United Airlines is adding 31 flights to 12 islands in the Caribbean. In Mexico, the carrier will add 28 flights to seven cities to its route network, and 27 additional flights to seven destinations will be implemented to destinations in Central America. 16 of those 27 flights are to Costa Rican cities. Moreover, United will operate three flights to Guatemala and three to Belize.

Domestically, the carrier is extending the seasonal nonstop service between Chicago and Brownsville through the end of April. Then, United is adding seven additional flights to Phoenix and Tucson, 15 flights to 10 cities in Florida and eight more flights to Hawaii. For skiers, United operates flights to 10 destinations in Colorado, including Vail, Crested, Telluride, Butte and Steamboat Springs.

The spring network expansion also sees new nonstop services from Denver. The city will be directly connected with Destin, Pensacola, Sarasota, Brownsville/South Padre and Palm Beach.

United Airlines is a big US-airline which operates with a fleet of over 760 aircraft. United flies with 67 Airbus A319s, 99 A320s, 337 Boeing 737s, 77 757s, 52 767s, 91 777s and 38 787s. The carrier serves 372 destinations in 63 worldwide countries.
