Germany´s WDL Aviation adds another British Aerospace BAe 146-200 to its fleet.

The aircraft will be registered as D-AZFR and can accommodate 100 passengers in a single-class configuration. WDL Aviation will operate the aircraft for Easyjet at Berlin-Tegel.

WDL Aviation bought the aircraft from British charter airline Cello Aviation, which is based at Birmingham. Both parties agreed on maintaining silence over the price of sale.

Since Autumn 2017, WDL Aviation is a subsidiary in the Zeitfracht group. Wolfram Simon, CEO at Zeitfracht, commented: “The new passenger aircraft shall be available for our customer Easyjet as soon as possible.” He added: “We are currently selecting new aircraft as thoroughly as needed, because we will be able to offer both passenger and freight capacities in the future."

Walter Böhnke, CEO at WDL Aviation said: "Our ambitious goal is, to be able to offer every existing and future customer the right aircraft. [...] For that, we are further gradually expanding our fleet."

WDL Aviation is headquartered in Cologne Germany and operates as a charter airline. Currently, the carrier´s fleet consists of four Bae 146-200 aircraft.
