Freight GA Telesis orders six converted B737-800SF with AEI

GA Telesis (GAT) has released a new deal to support its growth strategy in the freighter market. Together with conversion specialist Aeronautical Engineers, the company has signed for six Boeing 737-800SF to be converted. The order was executed by GAT´s Leasing, Investments, Finance & Trading Group LIFT.

The group has been ordering with AEI in the past and this latest order represents the third incremental placement. Together, LIFT now holds total deliveries and conversion slots for 12 Boeing 737-800SF.

According to GA Telesis, conversions from this additional order will begin next year to continue until early 2023. The group is even evaluating the possibility to place more conversion orders in the future or other aircraft freighter models as the cargo industry is quickly changing.

Aeronautical Engineers is the oldest aircraft conversion company in the world. It was formed in 1958 and has now provided advanced conversion solutions to customers for over 60 years.
