General Aviation Air Hamburg orders four additional Legacy 650E

Embraer has announced today, that the German operator Air Hamburg will order four additional Legacy 650E Business Jets to boost its fleet portfolio.

The agreement was signed during the 18th European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva (Switzerland). Being a business charter operator, Air Hamburg seeks to expand its Embraer flagship fleet to 17 aircraft.

Deliveries are expected to take place in the second quarter of 2018 and will last until the first quarter of 2019. According to current list prices, the deal is valued at USD 103.6 million.

Currently, Air Hamburg operates 15 Embraer Legacy 600/650 and two Phenom 300 aircraft. The operator is also the world’s largest Legacy 600/650 operator.

Embraer’s Legacy 600/650/650E has its proven platform with more than 25 million airborne hours. 70 aircraft have been delivered to Customers in Europe. Worldwide, Embraer Executive Jets has delivered 260 aircraft. The manufacturer offers its clients a 10-year warranty for systems and components. The 650E features a three-zones cabin design.

Air Hamburg was founded in 2006 and is headquartered and based in Hamburg, Germany. The operator has further expanded its operations in the last years, underlining its importance in the business jet charter branch. The airline operates 23 business jets, including 11 Embraer Legacy 600/650/650E, seven Cessna Citation XLS+, two 2x Embraer Phenom 300, two 2x Cessna Citation CJ2+ and one 1x Cessna Citation CJ3.
