General Aviation Bombardier delivers 1000th Global Aircraft and first 7500 to NetJets

Business jet manufacturer Bombardier has delivered its 1000th Global aircraft. Customer is NetJets, who simultaneously takes delivery of its first Global 7500.

With the delivery of the first Global 7500 for operator NetJets, Bombardier has gained a new achievement as the company celebrates the 1000th Global aircraft to be delivered from the manufacturer´s facilities.

It is the first of 20 7500s for NetJets, but a significant step for Bombardier to celebrate. Over years, the Global aircraft fleet has proven itself in the market and has become a popular choice by customers around the globe.

For the private aviation company, the Global 7500 will be doing its job in becoming a leading aircraft in the long-range segment as the new flagship. The aircraft offers a range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,269 kilometres). According to Bombardier, with the aircraft NetJets is capable of flying routes like New York to Beijing or San Francisco to Sydney without the need of refueling on the way.

Éric Martel, CEO and President, Bombardier, stated: “This double celebration sees our flagship aircraft become NetJets’ flagship business jet, and it’s a signature moment for all of us, as we cap off a remarkable year in aviation. I want to thank the many talented team members, past and present, who have supported the Global program during the last two decades, and our dedicated customers who have enjoyed the Global experience.”

Patrick Gallagher, President, Sales, Marketing and Services, NetJets, commented: “We take pride in operating one of the industry’s most advanced fleets, and we are delighted to accept our first Global 7500 aircraft today. The Global 7500 aircraft adds a new dimension to our long-range aircraft offerings.”

After decades of continuous development, the Global family has customers around the world. The delivery of aircraft number 1000 represents the reliability of the aircraft. Bombardier as cooperation is currently supporting a worldwide fleet of 4,900 aircraft.

NetJets is a leading private aviation company which has been incorporated in 1964 as Executive Jet Airways. For more than 55 years, the operator has been a prominent address in private charter services.
