Aircraft operator Luxaviation Group will manage the Challenger 350 aircraft, which will be based in Brussels, Belgium´s capital city. Luxaviation is one of the largest business aircraft operators worldwide.

This new addition to the Benelux market joins Bombardier´s aircraft fleet in Europe. Currently, more than 600 aircraft are in service in the region, representing the largest share of the industry´s total European fleet.

“We are very pleased that Bombardier’s best-selling Challenger 350 business jet has joined Luxaviation’s fleet of aircraft,” said Christophe Degoumois, Vice President, Sales, Europe, Russia and CIS, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “With its impressive high-performance features, superior economics, unmatched cabin comfort and entertainment technology, the Challenger 350 aircraft is ideally suited for the European market.”

“We’re delighted to welcome this exceptional aircraft to Luxaviation’s fleet in Belgium,” said Hervé Laitat, CEO of Luxaviation Belgium. “At Luxaviation, we have always set the bar very high for international business aviation operations, and our facilities in Belgium are a true reflection of this. Our ExecuJet Brussels Fixed Base Operation (FBO) was the first to be certified by the International Standard of Business Air Handling (IS-BAH) in the country, and we’ve just achieved IS-BAH Stage II certification, proving our team’s dedication to safety and service excellence. We’re looking forward to extending our renowned offering to the owner of Belgium’s first Challenger 350.”

Bombardier’s Challenger 350 features good operational costs, a new cabin and a range of up to 3,200 nautical miles (5,926km). From Brussels, the aircraft has the capabilities to fly nonstop to Dubai. Moreover, the aircraft´s characteristics allow the Challenger 350 to climb quickly and directly to 43,000 feet to avoid traffic and weather.

Up to ten passengers can be accommodated in the Challenger 350. The cabin is amongst the quietest in its segment and furthermore features a fully-equipped galley and access to the baggage compartment at all flight levels.

Luxaviation Group comprises Luxaviation Helicopters, Starspeed and other business aviation entities. The group offers several services that include aircraft management, maintenance, charter operations or fixed-base operations. The group´s airlines hold 15 air operator's certificates. More than 260 jets and helicopters are being operated by a workforce of more than 1,000 employees.
