General Aviation Chinese operators order over 50 Cessna Skyhawk

Textron Aviation has announced, that two Chinese customers ordered altogether 52 Cessna Skyhawk at the Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE) 2018.

Textron Aviation expects, that all 52 aircraft will be delivered within 2018. The two customers are Hairuo General Aviation, which ordered 39 Cessna Skyhawk. Second customer is the Hubei Sky-Blue International Aviation Academy, which ordered 13 Skyhawks.

Both companies are authorized sales representatives for Cessna piston aircraft in China.

Kevin Wu, Vice President of International Sales, Greater China and Mongolia, said: “China's 13th Five-Year Plan brings out favourable policies to boost general aviation development, leading to unprecedented opportunities in the aviation training market. In China, the aviation market and pilot training are growing quickly and steadily, resulting in greater demand for high-quality training aircraft."

He added: "Among Textron Aviation’s highly-recognized training products, the Cessna Skyhawk is known for its reliability, flexibility and economic efficiency, and it continues to be a leader in pilot training around the world.”

Hairuo General Aviation is a general aviation enterprise and was established in 2012. The operator is specialized in commercial pilot licence training, aircraft sales and maintenance. Hairuo operates with Cessna-172s, Piper Seminola PA44s, and Robinson R-44 helicopters.

Hubei Sky-Blue International Aviation Academy offers to provide training for the Private Pilot Lincese (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). The operator has over 20 Cessna Skyhawks in its fleet. In 2015, Hubei ordered five Skyhawks.
