Embraer and Porsche, two global drivers for technologies and innovations, have announced a design collaboration to create a limited-edition and limited-quantity Embraer Phenom 300E aircraft and a Porsche 911 Turbo S car.

For both companies, this collaboration is a first in their history. In total, 10 aircraft and cars will be manufactured and the idea behind this project is it to enable a seamless travel experience from road to sky.

Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets commented: “Duet is an exclusive package developed in a unique design collaboration with Porsche. This rare, refined combination will only be available through this one-time-only pairing [...] In the spirit of delivering the ultimate customer experience, we are fusing two of the most notable brands in the aerospace and automotive industries, bringing together the pinnacle in production sports cars with the market benchmark in light jets, once again proving that we don’t simply follow trends — we create them.”

Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualization and Classic at Porsche AG, added: “Porsche and Embraer share a host of common values [...] As part of our cooperation, we used the know-how of both brands to work jointly on a unique pair of vehicles that are equally attractive for the customer group of jet and sports car owners.”

Duet will be designed in tandem and brings together speed, luxury, power and style, both attributes of Embraer´s 300E and the 911 Turbo S. “The most successful business jet of the decade (2010-2019) meets the gold standard in production sports cars, resulting in a uniquely designed jet and car, both featuring a customized interior and paint scheme inspired by one another,” the companies explained.

An exclusive collaboration logo is embossed on the seat headrests of the aircraft and on the seat headrests of the cars. Regarding the overall design, the design language will be similar on both products. Cockpit seats in the aircraft will be same to the ones in the car and across the aircraft and car, there will be small but special detail that underline the exclusiveness of this collaboration.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S can only be purchased in tandem with its sibling Phenom 300E. The ten limited pairs are now available for order and deliveries are set to begin in 2021.
