In the first quarter of the year, the 300E received its type certificate from three institutes: The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).

The “E” in the model name refers to “Enhanced”. Compared to its predecessor, the Phenom 300, the 300E features a redesigned cabin and a new cabin management system, which was installed by Lufthansa Technik. A two-person divan increases the cabin passenger capacity to 11 passengers. The divan is positioned at the front cabin. Embraer´s Phenom 300E was launched in October 2017 at the 2017 NBAA-BACE.

Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets, said: “We are thrilled to deliver the first Phenom 300E on schedule, only five months after its launch, with overwhelming positive reviews from customers and the market [...] I want to congratulate our teams, who have so passionately worked to bring to market yet another best-seller, delivering true value to customers. I am also elated for our first Phenom 300E owner, a return customer who will enjoy an even more elevated customer experience with all the truly innovative value in this amazing new aircraft.”

Further enhancements to the aircraft are new, more comfortable passenger seats, an industry-exclusive upper technology panel and better cabin lighting schemes. The 300E has a range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km). Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E engines, the aircraft is capable of flying at 45,000 feet (13,716 meters).

In the cockpit, state-of-the-art avionics have been installed to enable advanced security. The 300E can be operated with only one pilot.
