General Aviation Embraer expands Service & Support presence in Florida

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has announced that it has expanded its Services & Support presence at Fort Lauderdale.

At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Embraer has expanded its Service & Support presence with a new hangar. The manufacturer signed a lease agreement with Jetscape Services for a dedicated hangar.

“We are thrilled with the added capacity to better serve our customers, whether they are based in the region or just traveling through Florida,” said Frank Stevens, Vice President, Global MRO Centers, Embraer Services & Support. “Our expansion in South Florida allows us to further elevate the customer experience for aircraft owners and fleet operators alike, in addition to creating 40 new high-tech jobs for the community.”

“We are proud to offer Embraer the infrastructure for their customer support expansion in Florida,” added Troy Menken, Jetscape President. “Since 2002 we have served customers from around the world with aircraft of all sizes, and we are confident that our ground support expertise will ensure that Embraer customers will enjoy a premium experience.”

South Florida is a strategic point for Embraer, as the manufacturer serves customers from the Southern United States, the Caribbean and Central America. The service centre in South Florida is also the base for the Airworthiness Management program from Embraer, where customers can meet with a team to learn aircraft value retention.

Jetscape operates on more than 21 acres at FLL with a combined hangar space of more than 100,000 square feet. The company provides a private terminal for general aviation traffic as well. Jetscape was founded in2002 and has been in the aircraft ground support and property management ever since.

Embraer Executive Jet is one of the leading executive jet manufacturers. The company is based and headquartered in Brazil and has entered the business aviation market back in 2000 with the introduction of the Legacy jet.

The currently aircraft portfolio consists of the Phenom 100EV, Phenom 300E, Legacy 450 and 500, the Legacy 650E, the Lineage 1000E and the new Praetor 500 and 600 super-midsize business jets. The global aircraft fleet exceeds 1,300 airframes. Customers from more than 70 countries around the globe are using Embraer private jets.
