General Aviation Enhanced Embraer Phenom 300E receives triple-certification

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has released, that its enhanced Phenom 300E business jet has received three type certificates.

The new Embraer Phenom 300E was granted its type certificate by the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The aircraft is the most enhanced version of the Phenom 300 series.

Embraer´s new Phenom 300E achieved its certification goals with an intracontinental range of 2,010 nautical miles (3,723 kilometres), a maximum payload of 2,636 lb, a take-off distance of 3,209 ft (978m), a high-speed cruise of 464 ktas and an unfactored landing distance of 2,212 ft (674m).

"The triple-certification by ANAC, EASA and the FAA reaffirms the position of the Phenom 300 series as the best light jet ever made, offering the ultimate experience in business aviation," said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. In the second quarter of 2020, Embraer hopes to deliver the first of the enhanced Phenom 300E business jet. The aircraft offers more speed and is now capable of reaching Mach 0.80. Furthermore, the aircraft experienced an avionics upgrade with a new runway overrun awareness system, Emergency Descent Mode and other new techniques.

Regarding the flight deck, Embraer stated: "In the cockpit, pilot and co-pilot seat tracking has been increased almost 40%, providing additional legroom. The cockpit enables single-pilot operation and offers the advanced Prodigy Touch Flight Deck, based on the acclaimed Garmin 3000 avionics suite. The avionics enhance situational awareness with clear information about speed, altitude, fuel, engine performance and other flight parameters."

For the cabin design, Embraer included a cutting-edge backbone of technology with adjustable lightning, touchscreens throughout the aircraft and patented flush gaspers. Passengers will have the opportunity for multiple zones of personalization and the nice HD by Lufthansa Technik allows advanced cabin control.
