General Aviation Honda Aircraft announces Guangzhou-Baiyun expansion
Honda Aircraft Company has announced, that it will expand its operations at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
A new facility will be built at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport’s fixed-based operator (FBO) area. The announcement was made during ABACE 2018 in Shanghai, China.
Hondajet China signed a deal with Airport Authority subsidiary Yitong Business Aviation Service Co. The expansion will contain an 8,800 square meter facility. Hondajet will be able to use the space as a showroom and service area. Altogether, 20 Hondajets fit the facility.

HondaJet China will be a one stop shop for all HondaJet customers with a beautiful, brand new location featuring sales and service support, flight operations as well as charter offerings. This expansion is a testament to HondaJet China’s commitment to creating new value in business aviation in the region with the technologically advanced HondaJet.”
By mid-2019, the facility should be operational. Furthermore, Hondajet will host a Start-Up company called FlightJoy Aviation Co. The company provides charter operations and manages aircraft of Hondajet throughout China.

In April, Hondajet and ANA had announced a strategic partnership to expand in the business market.
