(AReS II).

Through the company´s LinxUs data reporting system, Cessna customers are now able to choose to transfer their collected flight data to customer-selected Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) provider, to Flight Data Services L3Harris Technologies’ Flight Data Connect service or to Safran Electronics & Defense’s Cassiopée Flight Data Monitoring solution.

Brian Rohloff, senior vice president, Customer Support, commented: “At Textron Aviation, we are always looking for ways to enhance the aircraft ownership experience [...] Our innovative LinxUs FDM program enables customers to improve their operational efficiency, training, and reliability by transferring their flight data to one of two customer-selected data management providers.”

Customers will have the opportunity to choose between the service providers to select the best that fits their respective needs. This ensures, the customers receive the most comprehensive monitoring capabilities for their aircraft.

The first aircraft to benefit from these new opportunities is the Cessna Citation CJ4 business jet. In the future, the program will include additional AReS II-equipped Cessna aircraft, too. Textron Aviation has also stated that further aftermarket flight data monitoring solutions are in work and could be released this year.

"LinxUs FDM further expands the LinxUs and LinxUs Air brands providing customers with a suite of real-time solutions. LinxUs fault notification and diagnostics enable downtime reduction, returning the aircraft to service faster than ever. Textron Aviation’s 1CALL center, along with service designees receive automated notifications for potential AOG events. LinxUs identifies the indicated cause of the fault, enabling maintenance to be scheduled before the aircraft lands. This allows our service professionals to pre-position the resources necessary to respond quickly," Textron Aviation added.

Textron Aviation offers service for customers throughout the entire ownership experience. Globally, the company employs 3000 workers and has also nearly 70 mobile service units. This ensures, that customers can make use of OEM technical support around the world.
