Helicopters Airbus delivers 1300th H135 helicopter

Since the delivery of the first H135 in 1996, the global fleet has accumulated over 4.5 million flight hours. Over 300 customers in 60 countries underline the worldwide success of the aircraft. 641 H135s are being operated in Europe, 316 in North America and 195 in Asia.

Preferably, the lightweight twin-engine helicopter is being deployed on Emergency Medical Services (EMS), corporate transports, offshore winds, law enforcement missions and flight trainings.

To keep the aircraft state-of-the-art, Airbus integrated its “Helionix avionics suite” from 2016 onwards. The system features intuitive avionics with bigger screens and a 4-axis autopilot to reduce the pilots´ workload. This progress shows the constant evolution of the H135 programme to provide the customer’s needs.
