The undisclosed customer from Brazil will use its H160 for business and private aviation operations. This order marks Airbus´ first H160 deal for a Latin American customer.

Airbus Helicopters´ latest aircraft, the H160, can be used not only for private aviation services, but also for Oil and Gas passenger transports, EMS-missions or public service missions. The aircraft features state-of-the-art Helionix avionics, large cabin windows, a large windshield and further automatic functions, allowing the pilot to concentrate on the mission.

Mesrob Karalekian, Head of Latin America at Airbus Helicopters, said: “We are proud to announce the first sale of an H160 in Latin America where it has a lot of potential as we have been seeing a lot of interest in the aircraft [...] It is easy to see why the H160 appeals to private and business aviation customers as it is not only stylish but its cutting edge technology offers passengers an elegant, safe and extremely comfortable way to travel.”

On FIDAE 2018, the biggest air show in Latin America, Airbus Helicopters showcases a wide range of products. The manufacturer presents its single-engine helicopters H125 and H130, the medium H155 and also light twin-engine helicopters such as H135 and H145. Furthermore, Airbus Helicopters will deliver the first H145 for a Chilean operator during the air show.

During the Heli Expo 2018 held in Las Vegas in March, Airbus Helicopters was able to sell four ACH160 aircraft to an undisclosed North American customer.
