Helicopters Falcon Aviation announces a MoU for three additional H160

Falcon Aviation and Airbus Helicopters have signed a new MoU at the Dubai Airshow expanding their commitment to the H160 adding three additional helicopters to the original Letter of Intent signed in May 2016.

"We took the decision to increase our request following a flight demonstration where we got the opportunity to test the H160’s excellent passenger flight experience first-hand" said Capt. Raman Oberoi, COO of Falcon Aviation.

The Airbus H160 is a medium utility helicopter with a maximum capacity for 12 passengers. The first flight took place on June 13, 2015. Airbus schedules the entry into service of a passenger transport version for 2019. A second version for emergency medical services is planned for 2021.

Falcon Aviation Services is a charter aviation company with its headquarter in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The main hub is the Al Bateen Executive Airport near Abu Dhabi. The company was founded in 2006 and operates with a total of 35 aircraft and helicopters, primarily in the Middle East and North Africa. Falcon offers a wide range of services, including worldwide private jet and helicopter charter, wet lease, aircraft management, maintenance, oil & gas support and aircraft cleaning.
