Helicopters Rheinland Air Service appointed as first Bell 505 dealer in Germany

Textron Aviation company Bell has announced, that it has appointed the first Bell 505 helicopter dealer in Germany in Rheinland Air Service GmbH. The company has 50 years of business aviation experience and is a provider of aviation sales and services.

RAS is located in Mönchengradbach in North Rhine-Westphalia and will now be home to the first ever Bell 505 dealership. The company is furthermore expanding its footprint in the aviation branch, as it is currently employing 250 people in Europe and Africa.

By establishing this new dealership of the popular Bell 505 helicopter, Bell is providing its customers in Germany and the surrounding countries with a complete solution. RAS was established in 1972 and is offering services like aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), plus aircraft sales, support, and fueling. For commercial airlines, the company is offering a full range of EASA and FAA certified maintenance and was the first ATR maintenance network partner in Europe.

The Bell 505 is a new aircraft in the company´s portfolio that is very popular among private charters, medical evacuation operators or corporate executives. It is a light single-engine helicopter that is being equipped with a dual-challenge FADEC engine and a G100H all glass flight deck.

Bell Helicopters has been in the helicopter market for more than 80 years and is headquartered in Forth Worth, Texas. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Textron Inc. and has locations around the globe.
