Helicopters The Helicopter Company orders 10 Airbus H125

Airbus Helicopters has announced, that the Helicopter Company (THC) has ordered 10 Airbus H125 helicopters.

The Helicopter Company and Airbus Helicopters have signed a purchase agreement for 10 H125 helicopters. It underlines THC´s commitment to expand its fleet and to introduce new services. THC is a fully-owned operator by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia.

Airbus´ H125 is known as being very versatile and suitable for multi-role missions. It can accommodate up to six passengers and can be reconfigured to suit different requirements for different missions.

THC is expected to use the H125s to introduce a series of new services related to scenic tourism and aerial work, which includes filming, surveying and banner towing. The Airbus H125 is a light utility helicopter and suited for these missions.

Capt. Arnaud Martinez, CEO of THC said: “By signing this agreement, THC has taken a massive step in expanding its fleet and implementing its ambitious operational plan. We are proud to be contributing to the advancement of Saudi Arabia’s tourism and aviation industries through our innovative air transport services that guarantee passengers a one-of-a-kind experience to relish the beauty of the Kingdom from above.”

THC was established by PIF to explore new sectors in Saudi Arabia that generate commercial returns in the longer term. Since mid-2019, THC has been offering private flights.
