Helicopters Italy orders eight Leonardo AW139 helicopters
Leonardo has signed a contract with the Italian Government for eight AW139 helicopters. Two AW139s are for the Coast Guard and six for the Customs and Border Protection Service.
Helicopters Final AS565 delivered to Mexican Navy
Airbus has delivered the final two Helicopters AS565 MBe Panther to the Mexican Navy. The order refers to an agreement in 2014 regarding 10 units.
Helicopters First AW101 for Royal Norwegian Air Force delivered
The first Leonardo AW101 has been delivered to the Norwegian Ministry of Justice & Public Security. The aircraft departed Leonardo´s factory in Yeovil, UK for Sola Air Base in southern Norway. It´s the first of 16 AW101 for Norway, who all will be delivered until 2020. They are operated by the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
Helicopters South Korea´s National 119 Rescue Headquarters orders two H225 helicopters
Airbus Helicopters and South Korea´s National 119 Rescue Headquarters have signed a contract to purchase two H225 helicopters. The aircraft will be delivered by 2019.
Helicopters Falcon Aviation announces a MoU for three additional H160
Falcon Aviation and Airbus Helicopters have signed a new MoU at the Dubai Airshow expanding their commitment to the H160 adding three additional helicopters to the original Letter of Intent signed in May 2016.
Helicopters Queensland government orders new AW139
The Government of Queensland in Australia has placed an order for two Leonardo AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters. The helicopters will be used for EMS/SAR missions for Queensland Government Air (QGAir).
Helicopters Air Zermatt signed purchase agreement for additional Bell 429
During Helitech International, an event for the rotorcraft industry in London, Bell Helicopter announced the signed purchase agreement for a Bell 429 to Air Zermatt. It is not the first Bell 429 in the fleet of Air Zermatt, they are already operating with one of them.
Helicopters Luxaviation Helicopters acquires Starspeed
Luxaviation Helicopters, part of the Luxaviation Group, has announced the acquisition of Starspeed, the global helicopter management, charter and training company. The deal, Luxaviation Helicopters’ first acquisition since launching in February 2017, positions the company as the world’s largest VIP and VVIP helicopter operator, according to its press statement.
