Industry BOC Aviation places three A320Neo at Air Macau

The global aircraft operating leasing company BOC Aviation has announced the placement of three new Airbus A320Neo with Air Macau.

The first delivery of the new single-aisle aircraft is scheduled for the first half of 2019. All aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney Turbofan engines.

“We are pleased to add Air Macau as a new customer and to support its fleet and network growth plans as it capitalises on its position in the thriving Pearl River Delta region” said Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation. “BOC Aviation is well-placed to support expansion in the China air transportation market with our most technologically advanced aircraft models,” Mr. Martin added. “Air Macau’s choice of the A320Neo aircraft aligns with our focus on investing in the most efficient and technologically advanced aircraft.”

Air Macau currently operates a fleet of 18 Airbus A320 Family aircraft including four A319, four A320 and 10 A321. The carrier commenced operations in 1995 from Macau International Airport to several destinations in China and South East Asia.

BOC Aviation is a global aircraft operating leasing company with a fleet of 499 aircraft owned, managed and on order. Its owned and managed fleet was leased to 89 airlines worldwide in 34 countries and regions as at 30 September 2018.
