Industry Embraer announces new Phenom 300MED

Embraer has stated, that the Phenom 300MED is now available for customer configuration. The aircraft version is purchasable through a retrofit as well. Embraer developed and certified a new supplemental type certificate (STC) in partnership with umlaut and Aerolite Embraer.

The Phenom 300MED is the latest and first addition of its type in the product portfolio. Embraer stated that this aircraft would be the ideal solution for both civil and government solutions. The company´s award-winning Services & Support organization will install the Medevac solution exclusively.

A comprehensive set of configuration alternatives is being developed by Embraer and umlaut. The configurations feature one or two stretchers, the ability to carry and incubator and more equipment. The Phenom 300MED was designed to meet the needs of both healthcare providers and patients.

The Phenom 300MED benefits from the characteristics of the successful Phenom 300 platform, the low operating costs and the high flexibility. Together with state-of-the-art avionics, the aircraft also has a best-in-class pressurization.
