In 2016 the management announced plans to resume services and after receiving a new AOC in June 2017 the carrier now operates a fleet of two Airbus A320Ceo. Both aircraft are configured with a two class cabin with 12 Business seats and 120 Economy Class seats. Currently Wataniya Airways connects its hub Kuwait International Airport with seven destinations including Bahrain, Baku and Sarajevo. With the national carrier Kuwait Airways and the largest private carrier Jazeera Airways the relaunched carrier has two competitors on its home market.
