Start-Ups Asia Atlantic Airlines receives AOC

Asia Atlantic Airlines, a subsidiary of the Japanese travel agency H.I.S. has received a Thai AOC and will commence operations with its fleet of two Boeing 767-300ER in the near future. The aircraft are configured with 261 seats, 18 in business and 243 in economy class.

The charter carrier plans to connect its hubs in Thailand with cities in Japan and China. On the website, Asia Atlantic Airlines offers flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Phuket Airport to Shenyang, China. and additional flights from Bangkok to Sapporo, Japan.

Chula Sukmanop, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand stated: “Last year, more than 1.5 million Japanese tourists visited Thailand. And from China there were more than 9.8 million travelers in 2017. This is an achievement of today's airlines. It is a great opportunity for the airline to be an alternative way to travel with Thai people and foreigners.”
