Start-Ups California Pacific Airlines announces schedule and fares

Start-Up airline California Pacific Airlines has announced its inaugural schedule and fares.

Initially, the airline will commence scheduled flights from November 1, 2018. Operational base will be at McCellan Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, California.

California Pacific Airlines will offer flights from to the cities of Reno-Lake Tahoe and San Jose. Furthermore, the carrier will add a direct link to Las Vegas from November 15, 2018. The Start-Up airline has also said that it will announce additional western routes in the near future.

Chairman of California Pacific Airlines Ted Vallas commented: “Today’s announcement marks the culmination of a multi-year effort that will bring significant convenience in air travel between San Diego’s North County and the top Western-Region destinations our community wants to fly to nonstop.”

Embraer ERJ145 regional aircraft will operate on all routes. 50 passengers can be accommodated in a single-class configuration.

Mineta San Jose International Airport’s Director of Aviation John Aitken added: “We are extremely pleased to be one of three launch airports for California Pacific Airlines and the convenient, nonstop service it will offer to travellers between San Diego North County and Silicon Valley.”

The initial flight schedule for flights between Carlsbad and San Jose see two round trips each week day. On Sundays and Saturdays only one round trip will be flown. Reno will be served from Carlsbad with a single round trip on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and on Sundays. The route to Las Vegas will be flown three times weekly, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

California Pacific Airlines is a FAA certified Start-Up airline. The carrier offers scheduled flights and large aircraft operations. The services are being operated by Aerodynamics Inc., which use ERJ145 aircraft for regional operations.
