The start-up carrier connected its Italian hub in Genoa with Trieste. The new route could be interesting for business travelers as FlyValan connects Genoa and Trieste in the morning and in the evening. In the next step, the carrier plans to increase the number of destinations and frequencies. FlyValan plans to offer flights to Geneva, Zurich and Brussels in the next months.

FlyValan has received its first ATR72-500 in December 2017. The airline, which plans to expand its fleet in the next months, was forced to postpone the commence of operations due to missing AOC and organizational reasons.

Genoa International Airport is located 7 km west of the city of Genoa and the most important airport for the region of Liguria. In 2015, the airport handled 1,3 Mio. passengers. Major airlines are Volotea, Ryanair and Alitalia. FlyValan is the only carrier connecting Genoa with the North Italian city Trieste.

On its website, FlyValan says to be a boutique airline focusing on business travelers but also on leisure travelers.
