Some weeks after the management has confirmed the interims solution name “French”, the company has now announced to rebrand into French Bee.

In May 2018, the carrier plans to open a new route from Paris to Faa’a International Airport in French Polynesia via San Francisco Airport. Due to a high similarity of the carrier’s name French Blue with a US airline, probably Jet Blue, US authorities recommended a change of name. Therefor French Blue officially announced to rebrand as French Bee.

French Bee is a subsidiary of the French holding company Group Dubreuil. In addition to French Bee, the company owns Guadeloupe-based Air Caraibes.

French Bee operates a fleet of one Airbus A330-300 with 378 seats (28 Premium, 350 Economy) and one A350-900 with 411 seats (35 Premium, 376 Economy).
