Start-Ups US start-up FlyCapri seeks investors
Text: The US start-up FlyCapri has announced a funding campaign to commence operations in 2019.
Setting up an airline is always expensive. A US start-up, based in Wisconsin, has announced to search for 200 investors who would like to invest around $2 million to commence operations. Each investor will get shares of the new company and eight free one way tickets, once the airline started operations.
“FlyCapri intends to initiate flights November 2019 with nonstop flights between Fort Myers, FL (RSW) and both Madison, WI (MSN) and Green Bay, WI (GRB). (..) Capri intends to market itself as a mid-priced nonstop option that provides quality service at a rate less than the other airlines operating within that lane. The company intends to maintain ticket prices that are competitive to the larger legacy carriers (Delta, United, American and Southwest), but will differentiate itself through the nonstop and direct flight options that will save time, hassle and stress associated with winter travel,” the carrier stated on its website.
Green Bay International Airport is currently served by several regional airline subsidiaries of major US airlines. American Eagle, Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection and United Express connect the airport with the carries hubs.
FlyCapri plans to use a fleet of A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft.
