Air France-KLM has announced, that it will go into a partnership with GOL Linhas Aéreas. The airline seeks to establish a hub at Fortaleza for flights from Europe to Brazil and back.

Fraport Brasil has started operations at Fortaleza Airport (FOR) and at Porto Alegre Airport (POA). The company is a 100% subsidiary of the German Fraport AG.
