Eve Urban Air Mobility Solutions has signed another partnership deal as subsidiary of manufacturer Embraer. This time, the company teams up with Nautilus Aviation, part of the Morris Group, to develop an ecosystem for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations in Australia.

Part of the partnership is that Nautilus Aviation will take delivery of 10 of Eve´s eVTOL aircraft. Flights are expected to take off in five years, according to a successful flight test campaign by the manufacturer.

The eVTOL aircraft will mainly be used in the Queensland area. The companies hope to offer services to touristic destinations and attractions like the Great Barrier Reef. Flights with the eVTOL would bring a 100% zero-emission flight offering for scenic flights over the Great Barrier Reef.

Morris Group Founder and CEO, Chris Morris, commented: “This partnership is an exciting development for Nautilus Aviation and Morris Group. We believe economic success and environmental sustainability go hand-in-hand and aim to strengthen and enrich the environments in which we work. Eve’s eVTOL technology will integrate seamlessly into our operations to deliver a range of exciting zero-emission tourism experiences.”

Andre Stein, President and CEO of Eve, added: “Our partnership with Nautilus Aviation and Morris Group will see Eve aircraft serving Australia's iconic tourism attractions with sustainable, zero emissions low-noise, journeys. We share the same vision toward a carbon neutral future for air mobility and this a great use case for the solutions Eve is bringing to the market, including our 100% electric eVTOL and comprehensive customer support and air traffic management solutions.”

Embraer company Eve has developed the eVTOL aircraft to offer a new value proposition with UAM products and services. The vehicle took off in an engineering simulator last year and the Proof of Concept (POC) followed months after. The company is a leader in creating new sustainable solutions for the aviation industry of the future.

Nautilus Aviation is Northern Australia´s biggest helicopter operator. The company has 28 years of flying experience and grew out of the Morris Group as subsidiary. Nautilus offers commercial flights, emergency services and flight trainings. Currently, the network bases are located in Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville, Darwin and Horn Island.
