Buzz has announced, that it is currently in advanced discussion with tour operators to provide charter flights to holiday destinations in the upcoming summer schedule. The low-cost carrier plans to fly to destinations in Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy.

From as early as November 2020, Buzz also seeks to operate flights to the Canary Islands and Morocco. With the new routes to holiday hotspots, the airline underlines its mission to bring passengers cheap and safely to their holidays.

Most charter flights are expected to take off from Czech´s capital Prague. In Central and Easter Europe, Buzz is currently the largest charter airline with a fleet of 47 aircraft in four countries.

Michał Kaczmarzyk, CEO Buzz, confirmed the discussions: "Czech consumers and tour operators need have no concerns about available seats to the sunshine next summer.  Buzz is in advanced discussions with key tour operators and with Ryanair Group to expand its services from Prague to include many more destinations in Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Portugal and North Africa for Summer 2021."

"At a time when other airlines are seeking state aid to avoid collapse, Buzz will be there to provide reliable, low fares, services from/to Prague on modern Boeing 737s [...] We look forward to finalising negotiations and announcing details of our Summer 2021 programme in the coming months."

Next to the low-fare charter services, Buzz also operates flights on behalf of the Ryanair Group. In March last year, Ryanair announced that Ryanair Sun will be rebranded as Buzz. All aircraft will receive a special paint scheme featuring a bee on the tail.

As standalone subsidiary of the Ryanair Group, Buzz operates with a Polish Air Operator´s Certificate (AOC). The airline is currently discussing to expand its network, which currently consists of 33 routes.

Buzz´s fleet consists of 47 Boeing 737-800, which are currently being rebranded to the Buzz brand. Furthermore, three Boeing 737 MAX 8 are being build in Boeing´s facilities. The deliveries are expected for when the MAX series regains certification.
