Airlines Level orders two new Airbus A330neo

IAG’s subsidiary Level totals order of A330-200 to seven with the two new aircraft ordered to be delivered in 2019.

Level has ordered two additional A330-200 to be delivered in 2019. With this recent order, the low cost long-haul airline brand has a total of seven aircraft of the type on order. The International Airlines Group (IAG), Level’s parent company, operates a total of 14 A330-200 as of December 31, 2016, according to IAG’s website.

Currently, Level operates four A330-200 in total: two from Barcelona to San Francisco (Oakland), Buenos Aires and Boston and two from Paris Orly to Montreal, New York, Guadeloupe and Martinique. Level based the second A330-200 in Paris Orly in early July of 2018. The Barcelona fleet will be expanded by another A330-200 in summer 2018.

According to Airbus the aircraft will be configured with 314 seats, 21 premium economy and 293 economy seats. The Airbus A330 Family currently has 1.370 aircraft flying which are operated by more that 110 operators worldwide. To date 1.700 aircraft of the A330 type are on order. The 2018 list price is US$238.5m.

Level is a subsidiary of IAG alongside of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and Vueling. The airline brand took up service in June 2017 and is based near Barcelona in El Prat de Llobregat.
