Airlines Silver Air starts domestic operations in Croatia

Czech airline Silver Air has announced, that it will commence domestic operations in Croatia.

The carrier will station one Let 410 aircraft at Losinj. Altogether, the airline will fly eight weekly services from Losinj to Pula, Split and Zagreb. Operations will commence from June 24, 2018. Currently, the airline plans to only serve this route during the summer season until September 2018.

Losinj is located on the west coast of Croatia and is a popular holiday destination. The only runway is 2,953 feet long. In 2017, the airport handled over 6,000 passengers. Silver Air will be the only carrier to operate regular scheduled flight services from Losinj.

Beside the domestic routes, Silver Air will add an open jaw flight from Losinj to Elba via Lugano in Switzerland. The Let 410 can accommodate 17 passengers and will connect the three cities on Sundays.

Silver Air is originally an on-demand operator, headquartered in the Czech Republic. Its fleet consists of two Let L-310 Turbolet aircraft. The carrier operates seasonal flights to Romania as well.
