Freight Bangkok and Liege airport plan to share cargo knowledge
The airports of Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi and Liege have announced a strategic partnership to share cargo know-how.
According to RTBF, the signing of the agreement took place during a ceremony held at the Asia Air Cargo Summit.
Both airports aim for a more intensive partnership, with this cooperation being the first step towards that direction. The airports strive for development in the air transport.
Liege airport stated: "This agreement between the two airports, which both are major cargo players in Asia and Europe, represents a commitment to exchange expertise and know-how, with a focus on freight development."
The airport added: "Particular attention will be paid to the development of the facilities and procedures required for the transport of perishable products, in order to unify the ASEAN and European markets. [...] As far as e-commerce is concerned, Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi Airport and Liege Airport plan to create an international network of high-performance links."
