The Singapore-based charter start-up OJets has acquired the Slovenian business aircraft management company Elit’Avia and will take over the entire fleet of the airline.

In early April, OJets has purchased a Bombardier Global 6000 and a Bombardier Challenger 650 from Minsheng Financial Leasing Co and commenced operations. With the acquisition of Elit’Avia, the number of owned and managed aircraft will grow from two to a fleet of 23.

Elit’Avia is a business aircraft management, charter and services company, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. With Air Operator’s Certificates (AOCs) in Slovenia, Malta and San Marino, Elit’Avia offers aviation services for customers in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia & CIS and North America.

According to OJets website, the acquisition is a “strategic move that allows OJets to leverage a decade-long wealth of operational experience and an unmatched reputation for professionalism.” Elit’Avia’s AOCs will allow OJets global access including flights to the USA. The Slovenian company will be integrated into the OJets Group as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

“OJets represents the optimization of luxury business aviation services,” says Nick Houseman, CEO, OJets. “With our private fleet, we are offering services that respond to current market conditions by minimizing capital commitment and eliminating asset risk.”

Elit’Avia operates a mixed fleet of Bombardier Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Global 6000, Falcon 50EX, Gulfstream 450 and Gulfstream G650.
