Helicopters Airbus Helicopters delivers first ACH145 helicopter to Brazilian customer

During a ceremony, held at Airbus Helicopter´s customer centre in Sao Paulo, the aircraft was delivered to the Brazilian company Bodepan Empreendimentos Agropecuários e Imobiliários. The aircraft is the company´s fourth Airbus helicopter over the last 26 years. Bodepan has been using several models, including the EC135 helicopter.

“We are very pleased with the acquisition of this new model in terms of performance, space and design. The ACH145 will enable us to make our journeys more comfortable and carrying more passengers. As operators since 1992, we have full confidence in the brand", states Mr. Odílio Bergamini.

Especially in the Brazilian market, Airbus helicopters registered growing demand for its H145 helicopter. With over 220 aircraft operating in the world, Airbus´ H145 has established itself in the market.

Jean-Luc Alfonsi, Helibras Vice-President of Business and Services explained: "Inquiries about the aircraft have been growing, especially after the last LABACE, when we presented the first H145 in Brazil. This helicopter is the best biturbine in its category.”

Compared to its predecessor aircraft EC145, the H145 features new Arriel 2E engines and a new optimized avionics package, the Helionix. In addition, the H145 has a 4-axis autopilot, which is linked to the Full Digital Engine Control (FADEC). All features ultimately lead to a reduced crew workload and to better situational awareness.

The ACH145 line form Airbus Corporate Helicopters is the VIP version of the H145 helicopter. In comparison, the ACH version features increased ergonomic comfort and a more innovative design. Inside the helicopter, a luxurious interior offers space for 9 or 10 passengers.

Back in 2017, Airbus launched its subsidiary Airbus Corporate Helicopters. The new business focuses on corporate and VIP helicopter. Its aim is it, to offer customers an exclusive experience on board and has established a global network of wholly-owned and approved service centres.
