Industry MTU introduces Technical Asset Management Services

MTU Maintenance has announced that it will introduce a Technical Asset Management Service (TAMS).

As being a leader in customized solutions for aero engines, MTU Maintenance will support asset owners with a new Technical Asset Management Services (TAMS) package.

The TAMS package includes housekeeping support for aircraft engines, fleet management, technical consulting and transitions management. TAMS is supported by industry leading software to complete digitization of documents and other information.

Martin Friis-Petersen, Managing Director MTU Maintenance Lease Services B.V. commented: “We are delighted to be launching TAMS, our new, intelligent and customized service, as a response to market demands and to complement our existing services.”

He added, that MTU – as being a MRO provider, asset manager and lessor – is in a unique position to understand individual requirements of operators. “Asset owners benefit from the comprehensive engine know-how within the MTU Maintenance network paired with the expertise we have gained as an engine lessor,” Friis-Petersen stated.

In the engine segment, MTU´s TAMS includes shop visit management and assistance with engine exchanges. In addition, the suite will help operators with engine lease returns and engine record reviews. The TAMS program can also be integrated in various other services when desired.

MTU Maintenance Lease Services and MTU Aero Engines AG are subsidiaries of MTU Maintenance. The German mother company has been working as MRO provider since nearly 40 years.
