Qatar Airways has announced that it will serve eight new destinations in 2020 and that it has expanded its codeshare agreement with Malaysia Airlines.
Airbus has delivered the first Airbus A350-900 to Malaysia Airlines Berhad. The airline which leases the A350XWB from Air Lease Corporation (ALC) is now the 17th airline to operate the new-generation wide-body aircraft.
Malaysia Airlines Berhad and Boeing have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for 16 airplanes during a ceremony at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington D.C.. The announcement includes eight 787-9 Dreamliners by converting eight of Malaysia Airlines' existing order of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and eight additional purchase rights of the 737 MAX 8s.
